Here's what to expect if you're going to the Texans home opener

HOUSTON — Fans headed to NRG Stadium Sunday to watch the Houston Texans take on the Chicago Bears in Week 2 of the NFL season can plan on having a lot of fun before and during the game!

The Texans announced Friday that they plan to have the NRG Stadium roof open for the game, which is set to kick off at 7:20 p.m. All fans in attendance will receive a light-up wristband.

Country singer Parker McCollum will have his own Texans-themed shirt for sale at the team store beginning at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Whoever buys a shirt gets access to a meet-and-greet with the Conroe native.

Clay Walker will perform the National Anthem. Saynt Chris will serve as an in-stadium DJ during the entire game.

A pep rally will take place at the "Bullevard" at 6:30 p.m.

The U.S. Coast Guard will also perform a flyover. 

The Texans are asking everyone to be in their seats by 7 p.m. for the light show and pregame fireworks.

During halftime, fans can expect a performance by Slim Thug, Maxo Kream and BigXThaPlug.

Houston opened the season with a 29-27 road win over the Colts while the Bears held strong at home and beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17.
