These are where the most hurricane-related service calls have been reported in Houston

KHOU11 News took a closer look at exactly where these 311 service calls came from and built a map to show which areas were hit particularly hard.

HOUSTON — Houstonians called in 3,799 complaints about storm debris, flood, street hazards and traffic signals out since Sunday when Beryl’s outer bands started to pound the city.

Data as of 6 a.m. Thursday showed that the most common call made was for storm debris collection. There were 1,474 such calls made since Sunday morning. See the calls below.

The map can be filtered by different types of issues and status. As of 6 a.m. Thursday, about 750 had been reported. Use the "Case Type" drop down to see all 311 calls. More than half were still open.

Other apparent storm-related calls are listed below:

  • Street hazard: 1,474
  • Traffic signal maintenance: 746
  • Storm debris collection: 1,474
  • Beryl power outage: 140
  • Flooding: 34
  • Electrical hazard: 42
  • Traffic signals: 11

Total calls as of 6 a.m. Thursday: 3799

According to the map and list, many issues do not appear to be reported, with few calls in some neighborhoods with widespread damage.

The City of Houston received 1,140 calls for the same types of issues in the first week of the month, for comparison.
