HOUSTON — Another Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for our Wednesday. Air temps push into the triple digits and the heat index will peak past 113.
Because of that an Excessive Heat Warning has been issued. Be sure to practice heat safety measures, especially during the hottest times of the day, which is between the hours of 1 p.m. through 7 p.m. Avoid spending long periods of time outdoors, but if you must be outside stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in a cooler place indoors.
The KHOU Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for all of Wednesday because of the extreme heat. Through the next seven days, expect very hot and humid conditions with temperatures at or near 100 degrees through the middle of the week. The skies will be mostly sunny. Rain chances will return by the end of the week bringing a modest drop in temperatures back to the mid-90s.
