HOUSTON — One thing you can count on after a disaster in the Houston area: People will pitch in to help others recover as we prove once again that we are Houston Strong!
That was crystal clear Friday during KHOU 11's Beryl Relief Telethon.
With so many people impacted by Hurricane Beryl and the massive power outages, KHOU 11 partnered with the American Red Cross to raise money for storm victims as we Stand for Houston together.
Thanks to very generous corporate donors and the incredible generosity of everyday Houstonians, we raised $511,258 for storm victims!
