Viewers capture video of hail, flooding and strong storms across Southeast Texas

The storms rolled in Saturday night and continued Sunday morning. These are some of the images and videos you captured.

HOUSTON — Storms rolled in Saturday night and brought with them heavy rain, hail and several severe weather warnings.  As the storms moved through, KHOU 11 viewers captured photos and videos and sent them in.

Did you capture video from the storms that moved through?  If you can safely get photos or videos, send them to us through the Near Me feature of our news app. You may see them on KHOU 11 News or on KHOU.com.

Below are some of the photos and videos that were sent in Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Starting in Huntsville, Jason Hill sent in two videos of the hail that was falling.

Northwest Harris County saw the strong storms Saturday night. At one point, there was both a Tornado Warning and Severe Thunderstorm Warning. KHOU 11 and meteorologist Pat Cavlin were both tagged in a video showing what may have been a funnel cloud in the area.

There was plenty of lightning and thunder in the Cypress area, too.

The storms came with lightning that lit up the sky, as captured in this tweet from a tranplant from Ohio of lightning over downtown Houston.

Speaking of downtown, this is what happens when a lot of rain falls in a short amount of time. Pastor Jaime Garcia captured video of water shooting up from a manhole.

The slow-moving storms had high water in spots, including Waller. Pastor Jaime Garcia also captured this high water at a gas station.

And KHOU 11's Maria Aguilera also found high water in the same area.
