HOUSTON — Bun B's Trill Burgers restaurant is offering a new menu item--but hurry, it's only for a limited time!
Bun B teamed up with Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman's Wild Sol salsa to introduce the Trill Smash Tacos.
The taco features Trill Burger's crispy beef smashbuger patty with American cheese smashed onto a white corn tortilla. It's topped with citrus slaw, chipotle aioli, jalapeños, trill taco seasoning and of course-- that Wild Sol salsa.
The Trill Smash Tacos come with a side of fries, just like every Trill Burger.
The item first hit the menu on Cinco De Mayo.
"Cinco de Mayo was the perfect way to celebrate and we've been trying to find a way to partner with our good friend Alex Bregman from the Astros. Alex has a new salsa company, so, everything kind of lined up with the perfect flavor and perfect timing," Bun B said.
It is unknown how long the Trill Smash Tacos will be offered.
