AMBER Alert canceled: Missing 10-year-old girl found safe, returned home

Investigators were looking for a girl, who had been missing since 11 p.m. Friday. She has since been found safe.

CROSBY, Texas — UPDATE: The missing 10-year-old girl has been found safe and returned home, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

A 10-year-old Harris County girl is missing and investigators need your help to find her.  

A regional AMBER Alert has been issued for a girl, who was last seen Friday night at around 11 p.m. along Zinn near Evangeline in Crosby. 

She stands four feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 90 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a red crop top, black jacket, black shorts, and white Nike shoes.

According to an email sent to KHOU 11 from the Texas Center for the Missing, the girl was last seen getting into a vehicle, which they said was a brown sedan, with a 22-year-old man who goes by the name David.

If you know anything about where she may be, you’re asked to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-755-7427 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
