HOUSTON — As of Sunday morning, hundreds of thousands of power customers remained without electricity, nearly a week after Beryl's landfall. No power can be deadly in the Houston heat, so the city and surrounding communities have set up cooling centers for people affected by the storm to go and distribution sites for them to pick up ice and water.
