Houston Weather Blog: All I Want For Christmas Is Sunshine

And we should have it this year. Once the rain moves out this morning we will see an abundance of sunshine for Thursday- the weekend.

HOUSTON -- When you head out this hump day most everyone will see slick, wet roadways with a few showers lingering through noon. So you may want to grab the umbrella to start the day. I mean, another dreary start to the day with low cloud ceilings and even slight reduced visibilities. Not as bad as yesterday but still not great.

Tomorrow- expect big improvements!

Your day part planner this Wednesday is all about improvement. Even though we are starting in the 50's with scattered showers expect a hint of sunshine and mid 60's this afternoon.

If you have people coming over for Christmas plan on a nice forecast. 70's and sunshine. We will have to monitor the rain chances for Christmas Eve and Christmas. At this point I've kept the amount low but that could change.

No matter what- your weekend looks amazing! So if you need another reason to procrastinate use the weather forecast. Dreary today... you might as well as wait for the weekend.
