HOUSTON — Two lanes on the I-610 West Loop have been closed for emergency roadwork.
According to TXDOT, the closure affects two northbound lanes connecting the loop to the Eastex Freeway.
There's no official time on when the lanes will open again, but they're expected to be back Saturday evening.
TXDOT says the emergency closure is related to the I-610 West Loop/ I-69 Freeway interchange project. This is the same project behind the long-term closure for the West Loop exit to Westheimer.
