HOUSTON — The Houston Texans are losing one of their star defenders after pass rusher Jonathan Greenard reportedly agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings, according to multiple reports.
NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero were among the first to report that the four-year veteran agreed to a four-year deal worth $76 million.
Greenard, 26, had his best year for the Texans this past season with 12.5 sacks. He has a total of 23 sacks over his four seasons.
Greenard was a third-round pick for the Texans in the 2020 NFL Draft. He played at the University of Florida in college.
