HOUSTON — In less than a week, the Houston Rockets open pre-season at Toyota Center and fans who are ready to root for Clutch City are in for a real treat.
The Rockets gave us our very first look at a new scoreboard debuting this season. The scoreboard is huge. It's 34 feet high, 57 feet wide and includes underbelly screens for people sitting courtside and in lower bowls so people there can get a better look at all the action.
And get this -- during pregame announcements, you can look forward to special effects by rocket boosters, making it look like a rocket launch.
