ARLINGTON, Texas — When Texas and Oklahoma State line up for the Big 12 Championship game in Arlington, there will be plenty of Houston-area players on the field. The state is a hotbed of college football recruiting, so it's no surprise that there the state's biggest city will be well-represented in the conference's biggest game.
Sitting at No. 7, Texas has a shot at the College Football Playoff if they can top Oklahoma State. They would still need help, though.
Below are the Houston-area athletes on each team's rosters and where they played their high school ball.
