Police: Four women rob Radio Shack in Baytown

Four women terrorized Radio Shack employees in Baytown Wednesday morning, according to police.The robbers bound the employees with duct tape and sprayed them with pepper spray, police said.
A pregnant woman and two friends robbed this Radio Shack in Baytown, according to police.

BAYTOWN, Texas Three women terrorized Radio Shack employees in Baytown Wednesday morning, according to police.

They were wearing ski masks and when they stormed into the store in the 4600 block of Garth Road.

The suspects held guns to the heads of two employees and forced them into a back room. The robbers bound the employees with duct tape and sprayed them with pepper spray, police said.

A fourth woman was waiting outside in the getaway car. They escaped with several cell phones and cash.

One of the victims ran outside for help.

The girl ran over to my car and asked me if I saw the three girls. She was crying, said the witness named Ada. She said they held a gun to her head. While they were on their knees, they duct taped them they kicked both of their feet together, like they were going to duct tape their feet together.

Police caught up with the women when they pulled into a nearby driveway.

We had evidence in the vehicle that tracked us to the location, said Baytown Police Detective Edgar Elizondo.

Investigators believe the suspects may have robbed several other Radio Shacks in the Houston area.

Ada, who didn t want to give her full name, said women shouldn t be committing crimes.

It s just not ladylike, she said.

All four suspects face aggravated robbery charges.
