Police warn teens not to participate in viral TikTok challenge in Houston community

Police in Friendswood said they've gotten several reports from residents who said a group of teens banged and kicked on their doors in the middle of the night.

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — Friendswood police are warning teens to not participate in a dangerous TikTok trend that has made its way to their community.

Police said teens have been randomly going around banging and kicking on doors in the middle of the night.

Their goal is to scare residents.

Police said they've received several reports of it happening over the last few weeks.

They've even received some surveillance video showing a group of teens doing it. They're working to identify the people involved and asked anyone with information to call them at 281-996-3300 or go through their Citizens Online Reporting System by clicking here.
