HOUSTON - Two people were injured after a car crashed into a local bar Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at TC's Bar at 817 Fairview street in Montrose.
Police and the bar's owner believe the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
They said they believe a stroke caused the driver to plow into the business.
The driver was taken to the hospital after the crash and his condition is unknown at this time.
Another person at the bar was also taken to the hospital after injuring his ankle, according to officials.
The bar's owner said the outcome could have been much worse, as the car did not go into the bar's seating area.
He said the bar will be up and running in no time.
