HOUSTON — A Mega Millions ticket sold in Texas for Friday night’s drawing is worth a cool million dollars.

That million-dollar ticket, which was sold in Abilene, matched five out of five numbers, but missed on the Mega Ball.  The numbers in Friday night’s drawing were 28, 30, 44, 66, 69 and a Mega Ball of 2.

If you’re familiar with Abilene, the ticket was sold at the DK # 5 at 2718 North First.

The Texas ticket was one of two around the country that matched five numbers.  The other one was sold in Tennessee.

No one won the big jackpot, which now rolls over to an estimated $575 million. That drawing will be on Tuesday. If you can’t wait, there’s a Powerball drawing on Saturday night worth an estimated $34 million.

What are my chances of winning the Mega Millions?

The game's odds are 1 in 302.6 million. Lucky winners can choose an annuity with annual payments over 29 years. Winners almost always take the cash option.
