GARLAND, Texas -- The driver of a van is in critical condition after flying storm debris hit his windshield in Garland, police said.
Garland Police Lt. Pedro Barineau said the van was struck just after 9 a.m.
The injured man was taken to a Dallas hospital by ground ambulance, Barineau said.
Strong winds also damaged buildings in Garland, according to police.
