AMBER Alert discontinued for missing 6-year-old girl

The girl was reported missing before 8 a.m. Wednesday and was recovered just past 10 a.m. on San Antonio's far west side.

SAN ANTONIO — A 6-year-old who was the subject of an AMBER Alert on Wednesday morning has been found, authorities reported.

The AMBER Alert had been issued for a missing girl who was possibly abducted by her father, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The child and her father had last been seen around 7:47 a.m. on Wednesday near the 13100 block of Beals Circle in far west San Antonio.

No additional information about the child's recovery have been released. It is not know whether anyone will face charges in this incident.
