HOUSTON — Did you hear the rumbling coming from Discovery Green on Saturday?
Thousands of people packed the park to check out the action of the Red Bull Racing's Showrun and championship-winning F1 cars.
Off the street, people could get a closer look at these incredible machines and even chat with some of the people behind the wheel, like Red Bull junior driver Arvid Lindblad.
“To be able to see these cars, the sound of them that you don’t get anymore and to bring so much closer to the fan is amazing and to have that experience with them, I’m really enjoying,” he said. “It's my first time to Texas, so I'm absolutely loving it. It's such a cool place. Yesterday, I went to get some cowboy boots and the belt with the team.”
Fans also got to check out other high-speed racers, like the McClaren P1 Hypercar and Red Bull truck and motorcycle.
