HOUSTON Questions still surround the death of a 17-year-old girl found dead in a hotel room after her prom.
According to the Harris County Medical Examiner, Jacqueline Jackie Gomez had hemorrhages around her neck when she was found.
Gomez was found dead about a month ago in a hotel room in north Houston the morning after prom. The autopsy also showed she had hydrocodone and liquor in her system.
Homicide detectives are consulting outside medical experts to determine exactly what killed the MacArthur High School senior.
Her boyfriend was in the hotel room at the time. Detectives said he is cooperating fully.
