Pig parts shut down part of Southwest Freeway for hours

SUGAR LAND, Texas — The Southwest Freeway is back open after crews cleaned up a scene where a truck accidentally spilled pig by-products Tuesday morning.

The scene cleared around noon and north/inbound traffic is back to normal.

It happened on 59 at Williams Trace in Sugar Land around 9 a.m.
