HOUSTON - Parents whose kids go to Sugar Grove Academy in HISD are concerned over a confirmed case of tuberculosis at the school.
They received a letter stating that parents will be notified in 10 days if their child needs to be screened for the infectious disease.
The schools is holding a meeting Friday night to alleviate parent's concerns. In the letter, the school said that the student is recovering but they gave little information in an effort to protect the privacy of the child.
