HOUSTON Cemex, the world s largest cement company, has agreed to pay workers $1.5 million in back wages.
A lawsuit said the company, based in Houston, short-changed about 1,700 cement truck drivers.
The U.S. Department of Labor filed the suit, which forced the company to pay the workers back.
