MISSING: 46-year-old Friendswood woman with intellectual disability

Mary Marchand was last seen around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 24, in the 1100 block of Peregrine Way near Friendswood Junior High. She could be in danger.

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — The Friendswood Police Department is searching for a 46-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since late Friday.

Mary Marchand was last seen around 11 p.m. on May 24 in the 1100 block of Peregrine Way near Friendswood Junior High.

Police say she suffers from "psychiatric illness" and could be in danger.

Marchand is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hijab, black dress, multi-color leggings and black Nike tennis shoes.

Friendswood police believe she's on foot. They're asking residents in the Falcon Ridge, Eagle Lakes and West Ranch neighborhoods to check their cameras for any potential footage of Marchand to assist in the investigation.
