Missing swimmer's body recovered from park in west Houston

A man told HPD his brother went into the water Thursday afternoon and never resurfaced. His body was recovered later in the evening.
Police had been searching for the man since Thursday afternoon, when a man said his brother went into the water and never resurfaced.

HOUSTON — A missing swimmer's body was recovered Thursday night in west Houston, police say.

Police had been searching for the man since Thursday afternoon, when a man said his brother went into the water and never resurfaced.

HPD received the call around 3:25 p.m.

This happened near Eldridge Parkway and Westpark Drive.
