HOUSTON — On Thursday, Houston Mayor John Whitmire announced the details of the city's "Shell Freedom Over Texas" Fourth of July celebration.
Whitmire talked about the event's headliners, plans for the fireworks show and ticket information.
Last year's celebration was headlined by country star Chris Young and featured performances by Yola, TMF and Cupid.
