Two drivers died after a wrong-way driver slammed head-on into another vehicle during a crash on Highway 90 early Labor Day morning, according to Sugar Land officials.
This happened just after 3 a.m. Monday heading west on Highway 90.
Sugar Land police said a Honda Pilot was heading east in the westbound lanes when it slammed into a Toyota Highlander with a man and woman inside.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene while a third person, the female passenger, was taken to the hospital by ambulance in an unknown condition.
The highway was closed as police investigated.
