MONT BELVIEU, Texas – A propane gas line leak forced road closures in Mont Belvieu.
As of 7:20 a.m. Tuesday Highway 146 remained shut down at FM 1942. Authorities said it is expected to remain shut down for several hours.
Bruce Oliphant with Mont Belvieu emergency services reports there is no danger to the public, but the cleanup process will take time.
Highway 146 was also blocked off at Winfree Street, and at Fitzgerald Road. FM 1942 was closed at Fitzgerald Road.
As of 8 a.m. all roadways had reopened.
