HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A body has been recovered during a search for an 87-year-old man reported missing in the Twin Lakes subdivision Thursday morning, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The sheriff posted on social media that the man was last seen Wednesday evening on Golden Wings Court. The man suffered from Alzheimer’s disease.
Gonzalez said a dive team was called out Thursday morning to a lake in the subdivision.
Then just before 7:30 a.m., the sheriff said a body had been recovered from the lake.
“The family has been informed and are being provided with as much support as possible,” Gonzalez said in a post to X.
