HOUSTON — Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo now has a new title – fiancée.
Hidalgo posted on social media Monday night that she and her boyfriend, David, are engaged. She said in the post that she first met her future husband nine years ago.
Her social media post didn’t include a wedding date.
Her full message posted to Facebook and X reads, "Thrilled to share some personal news with all of you! David and I are overjoyed to announce our engagement! We met 9 years ago and through all these years and all kinds of challenges, he’s been at the center of my world."
