HOUSTON – A broken utility pole and downed power line caused a partial power outage at the University of Houston.
University officials early Friday said westbound traffic was blocked on Holman Street between Cullen to lot 15C.
Power was cut to the nearby stadium parking garage and the Taco Cabana.
Repair crews arrived around 8 a.m., but the roadway will likely remain blocked until the early afternoon.
Other parts of the campus were unaffected by the outage.
