HOUSTON - Police believe a woman found dead on the side of the road Tuesday morning was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
She was found in the 13200 block of Almeda Road.
The woman's identity has not been released.
Based upon her injuries and evidence at the scene, investigators believe she was struck by an unknown vehicle.
