HOUSTON — A body was found floating in Brays Bayou near Old Spanish Trail in south Houston Wednesday morning.
The Houston Police Department dive team was sent to the scene to retrieve the victim and search for evidence.
HPD homicide detectives and members of the HPD forensics team were also searching for clues along the banks of the Bayou near 5840 Old Spanish Trail.
They believe the unidentified man had been in the water for several days.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death and help identify the victim.
No other information has been released.
