HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 17-year-old died early Sunday morning in a major accident in northwest Harris County.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the teenager failed to stop at a stop sign and swerved through multiple lanes of traffic before she struck a retaining wall on Highway 290 near Hempstead Road.
