HOUSTON A 19-year-old Katy teen convicted of killing a 17-year-old classmate was sentenced Thursday to 60 years in prison.
A local jury on Wednesday found Alexander Olivieri guilty in the execution-style shooting of Bridgett Frisbie in April of 2011.
Prosecutors argued he killed her in a wooded area in Katy because she knew about a previous crime he committed, and he was afraid she would turn him in and jeopardize his career in the military.
Olivieri and Frisbie went to Raines High School together.
