HOUSTON George Foreman V, the son of the boxing legend who is charged with assault on a family member, was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
Foreman, 23, was arrested in February after he allegedly choked his 25-year-old wife, Ashley,at their Kingwood home, according to court documents.
She called 911, but refused medical treatment.
Foreman was released after posting a $10,000 bond. Foreman has hired high-profile defense attorney Dick Deguerin.
Boxing great George Foreman has 10 children and all five of his sons were named George.
