HOUSTON — Hurricane Beryl left extensive damage across Southeast Texas and over 2.5 million homes, businesses and schools without power.
Some Houston-area school districts are closing again on Wednesday, July 10.

Aldine ISD closed through next week
Aldine ISD will be closed Wednesday, July 10 and Thursday, July 11. The district is scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 15.
Alvin Community College closed Thursday
Due to the continued effects of Hurricane Beryl, the campus will remain closed Thursday, July 11. Please check the ACC website for latest information. Summer 2 classes will begin on Monday, July 15 and the registration deadline has been extended to July 18.
Cleveland ISD closed through next week
Due to impacts from Hurricane Beryl, all Cleveland ISD campuses and facilities will be closed through the remainder of the week and plan to reopened Monday, July 15.
Conroe ISD closed through next week
Conroe ISD will be closed to the public on Thursday, July 11, but employees scheduled to work will report at their standard time. Supervisors will share additional information as necessary. Conroe ISD student summer programs will resume on Monday, July 15.
Crosby ISD closed through next week
Due to continual power outages, Crosby ISD will remain closed for the remainder of the week. The district plans to resume normal operations Monday, July 15.
Cy-Fair ISD closed through next week
All summer school and student activities are canceled for Thursday, July 11, due to ongoing power outages at campuses. CFISD will be closed on Friday, July 12, according to the regular summer calendar.
Galena Park ISD closed through next week
Due to the number of homes and district facilities without power, Galena Park ISD campuses and district offices will remain closed Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12.
Houston ISD closed through next week
Due to the effects of Hurricane Beryl, all summer school classes and activities are canceled Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12. Summer school students will not make up the days missed due to the storm. Summer school will end on July 19 as planned. All HISD Summer Meal sites are also closed on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12.
Humble ISD closed through next week
Humble ISD is closed the rest of this week due to power outages and storm clean up. Campuses and buildings will be closed Wednesday, July 10 through Friday, July 12.
Lone Star College closed through next week

Pasadena ISD closed through next week
Due to continual power outages and sustained damages across the district, Pasadena ISD will be closed Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12. School activities and business offices will resume on Monday, July 15.
San Jacinto College closed through next week
San Jacinto College will remain closed on Thursday, July 11, 2024, for all classes (on-campus and online), operations, and activities (including summer camps).
The second summer session (5B) classes will begin on Monday, July 15 and end on August 15. The other summer sessions will continue on Monday.
Spring Branch ISD closed Thursday
Spring Branch ISD will remain closed Thursday, July 11, 2024, due to the ongoing power, phone, internet and other issues impacting the district. All facilities remain closed and summer programs are canceled. Essential staff and central office staff should await guidance from their supervisor.
Texas State Technical College closed
Texas State Technical College’s Fort Bend County campus will be closed until further notice due to Hurricane Beryl. Offices will be closed and no in-person classes will be held.
Online classes will continue as scheduled. Students who are unable to access online classes can reach out to their instructors.
