HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A woman dragged her husband by a car, then drove over him in west Harris County after an argument on Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
This happened on South Fry Road near the Katy Freeway in west Harris County. The sheriff first posted about the incident on social media at 8:43 a.m. as a domestic disturbance.
At the scene, Charlotte Webster with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office gave additional information, saying that the husband and wife were arguing somewhere else, but came to the parking lot. That's when they said she sped off at a high rate of speed as her husband was trying to get out.
The husband was dragged and run over before falling to the ground.
The husband was taken by Life Flight to the hospital, where he's stable.
