HOUSTON – A chase suspect tried to get away but in the end was caught when he reached a dead end at a stopped train in northeast Houston overnight.
Around 4:30 a.m. Thursday Houston police were chasing a reported stolen pickup truck. When police tried to stop the driver, he allegedly led them on a short chase.
The chase ended on Cavalcade near Elysian when the driver crashed into a crossing guard at a stopped train.
Police say both the driver and a passenger tried to run away but were caught.
