HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A suspect pulled out a gun, robbed the FM 529 Smoke Shop and fatally shot the clerk Saturday night, according to police.
A Hispanic man, approximately 25-years-old, shot the clerk multiple times before fleeing with the cash drawer. The suspect is believed to be the same person responsible for multiple "smoke shop" robberies in the county.
Ziauddien Sharique Khan, 44, was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
