Uptown Houston couple with home at center of missing person investigation will remain behind bars

The attorney and his wife have not been charged with any crime related to the disappearance of Robert Bond.

HOUSTON, Texas — The Uptown Houston couple whose home is at the center of a missing person investigation will remain behind bars, a judge ruled Wednesday.

Sean Kennedy and his wife, Alle Price, have not been charged with any crimes related to the disappearance of Robert Bond, 40, whose family has not heard from him since June.

Houston police have said their home on Sage Road may be connected to Bond's disappearance and it has been the scene of multiple search warrants since September.

This complicated story begins back in June when Bond's family said he went missing.

They said Bond had been living with Kennedy, an attorney, and Price for a short time at their Uptown Houston home off of Sage Road that backs up to Buffalo Bayou.

In one of their last conversations, Bond's family said he told them he had some disagreements with the couple. Soon after that, they never heard from him again.

In September, Houston police raided the home on Sage Road and removed firearms and drugs. Kennedy was charged with possession of a controlled substance and Price was also taken into custody. Two weeks later, after Kennedy was released on bond, he was brought back in for a bond violation.

On the same day, detectives went back inside his home on Sage Road and left with a garbage can and other items. Texas Equusearch crews were also there and spent time in the couple's backyard with shovels and buckets. The crews said they couldn't tell us whether they found anything.

Price is charged with burglary of a habitation in a separate case. In a hearing on Wednesday, a judge denied her bond. After the hearing, Price's attorney answered questions about Bond's disappearance.

"My client denies any type of involvement in that and the DA hasn't filed anything and they haven't informed us of any further incidences or investigation," attorney Adam Brown said.

Kennedy was also denied bond on Wednesday. His lawyer was asked the same question.

"They still haven't proven any sort of murder," attorney Dan Cogdell said. "They haven't found the corpse, they haven't found anything significant as far as I'm aware."

The couple has not been charged with any crime related to the disappearance of Bond. Although the family of Bond believes he is dead, his whereabouts are still unknown.
