SAN ANTONIO - The debit cards of murdered H-E-B employee Paula Boyd went through the hands of three men in three days, according to San Antonio police.

In fact, police had just arrived at the scene when the 75-year-old's cards were being used.

Less than 15 minutes after police were called to Boyd's home for her murder, police said R.C. Curtis came to a convenience store on Huebner Road with her debit cards.

Police said he did a balance check for both cards. One was successful. One was not.

Police said Curtis then tried withdrawing $20 and failed.

Investigators said the next day, David Rocha went to three separate Walmart's with Boyd's debit cards.

Rocha purchased a television and a watch using Boyd's cards. He also tried to buy a PlayStation, but there wasn't enough money in the account.

Police said one more man, Frank Hernandez, Jr., also tried to use one of the exact same cards three days after Boyd was killed.

Boyd was a beloved H-E-B employee who was found murdered by blunt force trauma last month.

Curtis was arrested on fraud and credit card abuse charges. He remains in jail. The other two men remain at large.
