HOUSTON — A man found his roommate shot to death in his southwest Houston apartment Friday night, police said.
This happened at an apartment complex on Corporate Drive, which is near Bellaire Boulevard and Beltway 8. The Houston Police Department said officers were called to the scene shortly after 10 p.m.
Neighbors told investigators they had heard an argument between the victim and an unknown man before they heard several gunshots ring out. The suspect reportedly took off in an unknown vehicle. Police could not give a description of the suspect.
The victim's roommate showed up at the scene after the shooting, HPD said. He's the one who discovered the body. Neighbors told police they haven't had any issues with that apartment in the past.
HPD said the roommate is cooperating with investigators.
