HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A robbery suspect was shot to death with his own gun in northwest Harris County Saturday afternoon, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
An initial post on 'X' by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said deputies responded to an in-progress call for service at an apartment complex on W. FM 1960 near Highway 249.
According to the sheriff's office, someone was being robbed. The intended target was able to get the gun away from the suspect and fatally shoot him.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter was detained, according to Gonzalez.
