Recognize him? Police said he's responsible for a daytime armed robbery at a Uptown-area fast food restaurant

Police also believe he's behind a nearby thrift shop robbery.

HOUSTON — If you recognize the guy in the video above or below in this article, Houston police want to hear from you.

The video above is from September 19 at around 10:40 a.m. at a fast food restaurant on San Felipe between Chimney Rock and Fountain View.

Police said the man walked up to the counter and pulled out a revolver, which he pointed at an employee behind the counter. The suspect reportedly demanded money from the cash drawer, which the employee handed over.

The suspect then took off.

Police described him as a white man who stands around six feet tall. He has brown eyes and in the video from the fast food restaurant, he was wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and an Astros cap.

Houston police said he's the same person responsible for a similar robbery at a thrift shop on South Shepherd at Westheimer on September 15.

Here's a video that police provided from that robbery.

If you recognize him or know anything about either crime, here's verbatim what Houston police want you to do.
