Home invaders shot a resident after breaking into an apartment in north Houston, police said late Wednesday.
It happened on Greens near Imperial Valley around 10 p.m.
Police said the suspect or suspects broke into a downstairs unit for unknown reasons. A confrontation occurred, and that’s when the shots were fired.
The victim was shot once in the chest and taken to the hospital in critical condition. The suspects fled the scene.
It’s unknown if anything was taken from the apartment.
