HOUSTON — A man and a woman were shot to death in the parking lot of a northwest Houston apartment complex Saturday night, according to police.
This happened around 10:45 p.m. on North Post Oak Road near the West Loop and Katy Freeway.
A lieutenant with the Houston Police Department said a witness reported seeing a young man get into some kind of disturbance with another man and a woman in the parking lot before she heard gunshots. When she heard the gunshots, she rushed to her balcony and saw the two people lying on the ground.
When officers arrived, the man and woman were already dead, according to HPD.
Police only described the suspect as a man who may have left the scene in a black SUV.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene and were working to gather surveillance video and witness statements from the area.
We don't yet know the ages or identities of the victims.
