Police: Missouri City teacher allegedly murdered by her husband

A local teacher was allegedly murdered Tuesday night by her husband inside of their Missouri City home.

MISSOURI CITY, Texas A young teacher was allegedly murdered Tuesday night by her husband inside their Missouri City home.

The crime happened in the 4600 block of Green Cottage Lane in Missouri City.

Daniel Politte called 911 late Tuesday night and said that his wife, Stephanie Politte, was having an emergency and that he was in the process of performing CPR.

The husband advised officers that the victim was throwing up blood, and shortly thereafter they discovered the female lying on the floor partially clothed and deceased, said Sgt. Russell Terry with the Missouri City Police Department. At this time we do not know a motive of why Mr. Politte would kill his wife.

The husband was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder. Daniel Politte is being held in the Fort Bend County jail on $125,000 bond.

Stephanie Politte was a teacher at the Monarch School in Spring Branch.

The victim s profile on the Monarch School website said she was a graduate of Notre Dame who enjoys watching Notre Dame football, spending time with her family and friends (especially her husband, Dan) and singing and acting in community theatre productions around Houston.

The Monarch School released the following statement Thursday:

Stephanie Kirkpatrick Politte was a brilliant, loving, talented individual who made a difference in the lives of many children and families. This is a huge loss for our community and we are keeping her family in our thoughts and prayers.
