HOUSTON — A man was shot multiple times and killed in a shooting Tuesday night in west Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The incident took place at 2100 Highway 6 around 9:07 p.m., when police say they found a man laying outside of a hotel room with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim's girlfriend told police that a few days ago, there was a verbal altercation between the victim and a few other individuals. It's not known at this time if those other individuals were involved in the deadly shooting.
After the shooting, the suspects are believed to have fled in a black Acura MDX, police say.
An investigation is currently under way.
